APPLICIOUS!

This was the first “Wholefully” smoothie my teens decided to make. They added vanilla protein powder and extra spinach for increased nutritional value. Then they garnished the top with crushed graham crackers (pie crust) and sprinkled cinnamon. It was APPLaudingly delicious!!

Next time, they are going to try substituting the applesauce with fresh Granny Smith Apples.

I have a home daycare and the children always ask for a ''green'' smoothie, which is spinach, banana, mango, pineapple and a little water. They love it and I do too.

Are you using a regular blender? And it’s handling the ice ok? I was wondering because I don’t have a VitaMix or Blend Tec, just a blender by Cuisnart and a Juicer by the Juiceman.
